Award of the Karl Hofer Scholarships 2019

Congratulations to the Karl Hofer Scholarship holders*in 2019: Rüzgâr Buşki (1st prize), Oded Arad, Max Göran, Julian-Jakob Kneer, Keti Ortoidze

The jury 2019, consisting of Prof. Dr. Jörg Heiser (Dean of the UdK Faculty of Fine Arts), Nadine Isabelle Henrich, M.A. (Curator & Doctoral Candidate Daimler Contemporary Berlin), and Susanne Titz (Director Museum Mönchengladbach), were quickly in agreement during their tour of the applicant exhibition.

The following ten artists' positions were on display in the applicants' exhibition: Oded Arad. Rüzgâr Buşki. Hannah Dunkelberg. Dennis Fuchs. Max Göran. Maximilian Klawitter. Julian-Jakob Kneer. Stella Meris alias Stephanie Meyer. Haruka Moriyama. Keti Ortoidze.

The UdK professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts nominated 26 graduates for 2019. After the jury's pre-selection, the ten best applicants were invited to the applicants' exhibition on 7 November 2019. The announcement of the jury's decision and the award ceremony took place during the subsequent ceremony.
